Journey through the Milky Way

Come with us on a journey through our Milky Way! Together we will fly where no one has ever been before. Based on the latest research findings, you will experience our home galaxy more vividly than ever before. We start at our sun, look at our galaxy from the outside and plunge into the star-rich center. We will address exciting questions: How does a galaxy form and function? And where do all the stars come from?

In collaboration with the “Collaborative Research Center 881 - The Milky Way System” at the University of Heidelberg and the international StarForge research group, the latest scientific data and simulations have been implemented for the planetarium. This makes it possible to experience our Milky Way in three dimensions. An unprecedented experience awaits you, which will delight both amateurs and experts!
